In the whole logistical scheme of the Teach-In, your piece was one of the largest and the easiest. You made feeding up to 100 people per day for 2 and half days seem effortless.  We commend you and your staff for being so accommodating.

Also our special requests for organic food, needs for vegan, fair trade coffee, water needs and recycled paper goods were all met with satisfaction.  Our guests loved the food and the thoughtfulness of the menu too.

 

Most of  all the friendly faces of Donna and the crew were met with comfort everyday knowing that there were no worries on the meal, snack  and coffee service set-up.

Carla is one of the most skilled chefs I've had the occasion to meet and enjoy. I first encountered her food when I attended an event catered by her at a neighbor's home, and couldn't wait to craft an excuse to use her in mine. An informal post-wedding celebration for two friends of mine became a truly memorable event for the bride and groom and a dozen of their friends as a result of Carla's skill in making and presenting food. The menu ranged from delicate vegetable spring rolls to down-home roast beef and buttermilk biscuit sandwiches. And her version of a cupcake wedding cake was so inspired and so delicious that the bride and groom wished it had been the one at their wedding. During the past three years, Ms. Hall has catered a range of events in my home and in business settings for my company. These events have ranged from political fundraising receptions - for Vice President Gore’s presidential campaign (with the complexities of Secret Service requirements and the need to assure the comfort of the guest of honor), for Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, and for Mayor Anthony Williams - to corporate receptions, to large parties and small, intimate dinners.

 

I have engaged Ms. Hall repeatedly, as a result of a very high level of satisfaction with her work. She is an exceptionally creative chef with an eye for presentation of the food, drink, and space. Her cuisine is appealing, both visually and to the palate, and, inevitably, receives rave reviews and commentary from my guests. At every event, I have numerous requests for the name of the caterer.
